Pros

Eastman is a very open company where people are rated for the capability and their effort. Different opinions are welcome and even encouraged. As a company it is actively developing their most important asset, their personnel.

Cons

Being a public company, the desire the obtain short term goals over long term goals sometimes results in strange requests.

Pros

Ample freedom to do what is best for the company in my daily job. Colleagues are generally helpful and cooperative. Excellent working environment.

Cons

Potential challenges in growth due to current uncertainty in the global economy. But then again almost all industries are affected by the recent economic outlook.
