Pros

Across the board, management recognizes special talents and skills and gives one the space to use them. It appreciates a broad range of experience, nationalities, opions and backgrounds. That's what makes it s bubbling place to work. Eastman is an ethical, respectful company which trusts its people's judgement. It lets us to use our judgement and conscience to do what we believe is right, rather than prescribing all the steps as some employers do. We are encouraged to keep learning new things, and there are plenty of training opportunities within the company.

Cons

The various divisions are, well, divided. With all the talent and knowledge we have within Eastman, we could gain so much by working across organisations! We're often too bureaucratic, much of which comes from Kingsport. While meant to reduce risks, it slows us down where we can't afford to be slow. This has an impact both on employees and customers.

Pros

-The culture at Eastman is respectful and supportive to team-members, however stressful/ urgent the situation -Exposure to higher level executives is as easy as setting up a lunch appointment with them -Leadership opportunities are plenty and you are encouraged to take them on -As noted in other reviews, Eastman is very committed to work-life balance and they go out of their way to make sure that is maintained -As an international, I can vouch for the company being extremely supportive of different cultures and supportive with immigration requirements as well -Pay packages are competitive, especially when you take into account the low cost of living in Kingsport

Cons

-For some, the pace of work may not be what they are used to, especially, if they are coming from a finance/ tech background -Kingsport is a great place for raising a family. You may want to think twice if you're used to the city life.
