Pros

Great concept. Great location. Met some awesome people there.

Cons

Way more cons than pros. They say great thing to hire you, then forget about it. Really long hours, they do not care about hospitality, to advance to a new role you need to have an Italian last name or speak Italian. They don’t pay well. Really condescending upper management. Talented people are pushed out. Family meal is gross. Not even free coffee for staff, you need to pay for everything.

Pros

Benefits are good. Although that is only for the person working there. They do not discount having a dependent or spouse

Cons

Eataly has been going downhill for quite some time. I personally should have jumped ship a while back. They will make it very factual that you are expendable. If you’re reading this and thinking about applying please trust me it’s not worth your time. It is absolute chaos in the way it is run and management is clueless. I have vast experience and expertise of the restaurant industry and this place is the worst by far.
