Pros

Good people to work with. Some managers are flexible with personal time off. Was a good company in past years but had diminished in recent years.

Cons

Young inexperienced leadership at site and Division not prepared to lead. Make impulsive decisions without thinking them through. You're only a number and not a person. Would not recommend anyone applying.

Pros

Tuition advancement program, competitive salary, free online classes available for most subjects, people-driven management style, friendly culture, flexible PTO policy

Cons

Unequal distribution of work load, segregation of business divisions, lack of resources to solve problems, suspension of 401k match during adverse market conditions, I was in a manager role but was not given the title or recognition

Pros

Overall, I like working at Eaton. In my opinion, the biggest strength is the culture compared to most automotive companies. Management is more laid back, and it's less stressful. - easygoing culture compared to other automotive companies - good work/life balance, relatively low stress - friendly/helpful co-workers - career development is a high priority and taken seriously by management - good on-boarding process and training opportunities

Cons

Overall, the cons are not horrible - just little things that could be improved. - 401k match suspension and mandatory unpaid leaves of absence for those above a certain level hurt morale - too many "report out"/waste of time meetings - can take too long to process things through systems - lack of accountability or consequences from management if objectives aren't met - too much pandering to Wall Street and lack of implementation of long term strategy
