Pros

Everyone at Eaton is asked to do more each year. Employees are asked to "raise the bar" on a regular basis and give more. This can be an exciting mindset for innovation.

Cons

The need to continually improve can be difficult for employees who are resistant to change or feel so overwhelmed with current workload that they can't think about future improvements. Lots of opportunity for advancement, but it typically requires relocation which can be difficult to manage from a lifestyle perspective.

Pros

Solid, yet highly unappreciated workforce. Tuition re-imbursement plan is competitive. Company is highly safety oriented.

Cons

Constant reduction in benefits. Company is committed to reducing salaries across all phases of manufacturing, as well as office personnel. Experienced employees, with higher salaries, jobs are looked at as liabilities.

Pros

Reasonable benefits, work life balance depending on team, reasonable compensation

Cons

Empty promotion promises, high turnover, terrible attitude, leaders do not seem to take women seriously and ignorantly/unmaliciously make chauvinistic remarks
