Some leadership will work you harder than what you're paid for and they keep piling more and more on you till you wanna quit. Very hot in the summer, the union is more for the company than for the workers; bad contract, no doctors notes, no sick time, no paternity leave for union workers . They act all ergonomic but when you show them something that's clearly not ergonomic they don't try to fix it. The pay is good but not good enough for the work or the work environment. The management and lower leadership roles drive away good employees and and the union keeps the bad employees around. 58 hour work weeks and a 5 minute break between 5 to 7 am then you have to wait till 9:15 on first shift for a full break.

The lack of people is a double edge sword. If a crisis came up then we literally had no coverage. Management would expect you to break your back to pick up the slack and not offer any solutions. Thankless job to say the least.
