Pros

No company uniform, and easy to follow dress code that follows safety policy. Orientation and HR explains benefits well, and will help you out if you're doing your part. Activities for employees to attend. Casual amongst other employees (you can pretty much say whatever to most people, just look out for narcs). It's not very labor intensive after a week or two. No education beyond high school required. There are company meetings to keep you in the know about how the plant is doing. Great vacation (I believe like, 80 hours a year and the longer you stay the more you get). Discounts on products from Eaton's business partners and clients (Ford, GM, Hyundai... HP computers... Etc.). Eaton will help pay for college education. You get 2 ten minute breaks, 2 three minute stretch breaks, and a 30 minute lunch break (9 hour work days = hour of overtime each day).

Cons

Lots of drama and rumors. A total lack of professionalism (foul language and vulgarity). Favoritism. A lot of cutting corners due to people not caring about the job being done well. You'll be repeating the same thing for many hours (try to make friends there, it helps the time go by faster).

Pros

Good Benefits and pay are what the company does best. I worked there for 16 years until the plant I worked at shut down.

Cons

To much favoritism. The higher ups liked to hire their friends for better positions instead of who was most qualified. That was the way it was at my plant. Don't know about the other ones.
