      Fine if you're at a legacy Eaton plant. If you're an acquisition, not so much.

      Pros

      Good professional development. Decent benefits package. Competitive salary. There is a heavy focus on continuous improvement. There are many sites across the country that you can relocate to fulfill career goals.

      Cons

      Acquisitions are hung out to dry. Former Cooper sites have an identity crisis. The legacy employees tend to look down on former Cooper and other acquisition sites. At my plant, supervisors were given too many outside projects to adequately supervise there area(s).

      Decent pay, and okay benefits.

      Cons

      1. Favoritism by managers 2. Discrimination based on race at Jackson, Michigan facility especially 3. Management and HR would cook up untrue allegations just to get you fired because of budget reasons

      The voluntary overtime is cool and depending on what department you work in the hours can be nice.

      Cons

      No room for advancement really, have to know someone or do someone to get anywhere.
