Highs and Lows for Irvine Plant

Pros

Overall, Eaton is a solid company with competitive pay and benefits. Great training and development opportunities for early career employees.

Cons

Incoming Managers will need to carefully manage expectations, as most high performing team members have fled in the past 2 years due to the following: 1) Frequent cost cutting measures (benefits) are deployed if other segments of the business are underperforming. 2) Group and site leadership has been imported from Mexico plants. The prevailing strong arm management style has created a sweatshop atmosphere and disengaged employees. 3) Newly developed products are pushed into production prematurely.
