Pros

Team members are nice Good place to get experience Good image of quality Cares about the safety of its employees Paternity leave benefits OK 401k match, 6%

Cons

-Bonuses are restricted to top level management only, which is almost unheard of in companies this size. This has led to some employee departures -health coverage is standard, nothing special -weak supply chain department, do not seek other suppliers, contracts are unheard of -poor execution of matrix organization -favoritism of projects -lack of strategy to grow sales in all divisions, some placed higher importance than others -personnel cuts have caused some divisions to lose money, as well as more burnt out employees -not much effort in employee retention -very much focused on hitting the mark for investors

Pros

Overall a good company A lot of resources available to you Competent starting salary There are relocating bonuses

Cons

They market it as a development program but in practice the goal is to close gaps on positions/ roles that have not been able get filled . This can be very detrimental for you if you end up in a business that is already failing. Sink out swim attitude Even though they try to standardize every plant is like their own little company

Pros

Eaton has been generally good to me. Good company for lateral moves, especially if you are willing to relocate. Work life balance has been good to me, but experience seems to vary on a team to team basis.

Cons

Company is changing a lot as it transitions from a traditional automotive company to playing in the electricifcation space. New test capabilities being invested heavily offshore, leaving concerns of long term stability.
