Pros

-OJT (On-the-Job-Trainer) will be assigned to you to help you understand duties he/she has passed on to you (duties relevant to your field). -Encourage workers to attend as much training sessions & workshops to improve their skills and/or knowledge relevant to their job. -Good benefits. -Cheap rent for company dormitory room. -Free public commute from headquarters to Ebara factories provided. -Free language courses (English, Japanese, etc).

Cons

-HR is inconsistent in their employment policies. -Number of hours many work is outrageous (many "pretend" to look busy to do overtime... this makes workers who are relatively new to the company feel forced to work overtime merely because everyone else is.) -Talented&skilled workers are placed in departments that they are not knowledgeable in. -Indirect racism rampant. -Lunch time is too short (45 minutes). Also, food quantity is almost always sold-out by 12:40. Does the cafeteria even know how many work in headquarters? -Workers that struggle with depression are not properly treated.

Who is upper management really looking out for?

Pros

The group of people that actually do the work at Ebara are a very bright, motivated group. It is just too bad that no one in charge actually pays attention.

Cons

There is no sense of direction/leadership at Ebara. Rampant over-spending and mis-use of company funds by those with the "power" is a major issue at Ebara. There is a repeating pattern of groups and sub-groups set up to tackle major problems at Ebara. Almost always, there are very good suggestions that come out of the groups. Upper level managers do not hold anyone accountable to these suggestions, however, and the process is repeated.

Pros

It is a recognized Japanese Multinational Corporation (MNC)

Cons

No Guidance or Onboarding: Managers and Team Leads offer absolutely no support or guidance. You are left entirely on your own. Toxic Team Communication: There is zero mutual respect or internal communication. Some team members literally refuse to speak to colleagues on their own team. FSEs Suffer at Customer Sites: Due to this stubborn and isolated internal attitude, Field Service Engineers (FSEs) face extreme, unnecessary struggles when dealing with clients. Deceptive Compensation: The company promises a standby allowance after your probation period ends. This is a total eye-wash; you will never actually receive it. Verdict: If you are a fresh graduate or a young semiconductor aspirant, save your career and stay far away from this place.
