*Somewhat laid back *Decent work environment physically *Casual attire *Overall exposure to many different business processes *Company is an eCommerce company with a large internet presence

Cons

*Completely driven by money and profit *No short term/medium term/long term/any term planning of any sort *Zero IT personnel succession planning *Severely outdated IT workstations, laptops and servers. *IT knowledge severely lacking in up-to-date related business processes and architecture *The landing gear is being built while the "plane" is already in flight!

Pros

Relaxed atmosphere during the off seasons, casual attire, flexible working hours during the off seasons, friendly co-workers, and decent discounts.

Cons

Serious lack of process definition, appropriate head count, IT capabilities, product/stock visibility, very out-dated equipment, little promise of advancement or even hire on.

Easy hiring process Nice work atmosphere fast paced, but fun ability to learn more about customer service field Easy going supervisors/managers

Cons

They only hire you as a temporary employee because they would rather continuously hire and train new people during busy seasons that keep an employee part time/seasonal because offering benefits is something they do not want to do. Even employees who have been there for years do not get benefits because they are considered part time employees even though they work 40 hour work weeks during busy seasons (which is 25-50% of the year). After busy season is over they fire temporary employees, and tell them they will possibly call them next season, but to no avail. They simply continue to hire new employees, which is a pain because they have to be trained. It would be much easier to call/accept temp. employees from the past.
