Pros

I had a decent schedule and decent pay for the most part.

Cons

Everyone outside of management made minimum wage. Turn over rate was very high. We hired anyone, which made management hard. The hotel was falling apart. Owner wanted to give 2 other employees raises out of my pay check- so he wanted to lower my wages after 9 years of faithful service and added 5 hours a week to my work schedule.

Pros

Flexible schedule, guest interactions, entry level, no education, background checks, or drug tests. So, it's ideal for second chance employees.

Cons

No opportunity to grow. The pay is just above min.wage, the hotel is old needs updated but they won't put any money into it. No benefits, and they don't care about how clean the rooms are just nasty.
