Pros

Will not be fired as they will not pay pay for unemployment so is a rather secure place to work.

Cons

Too many to list but I will try. Minimum wage till the day you die. Does not matter how long you are there or how great a job you do you will always get the minimum wage and no overtime ever & no full time work either. The management is horrible! The assistant manager is in title only with no powers at all so her power is used to delegate her work on to others. Very unfair and it makes for even more bad attitudes. Policy is set by the owners-period! Bad policy is the rule. No extra pay for over night work. Expect to be paid $7.79 per Florida minimum wage until the state ups it. The owners are nasty, rude, hateful, unfair & impossibly stingy. And that goes for pay all the way down to supplies needed to do the job.

Pros

Develop bonus plan and created a very stable and safe working conditions. Bonus plans are almost non existent for the motel employees.

Cons

Could not offer full medical benefits, due to low profitability of the business.
