      This is not on Ed Theory but each district is different. Making sure when interviewing to ask all the pertinent questions to know expectations and to be on the same page before you accept a posting.

      Pros

      EdTheory promoted my skills and experience in an outstanding manner. Whenever I have a question or concern, there is always someone to talk to. Patrick Espino and Tasha Matthews gave the needed support from day one! They got me the best compensation for my expertise.

      Cons

      None that I can think of other than there are no benefits such as health planner 401K, but I knew this going in as a 1099 hire.

      Pros

      Staff are nice and responsive but only to the first few emails. Someone calls to check in on how you’re adjusting to the job and chats with you for a bit. Reimbursement was paid on first paycheck as long as you email the receipt early.

      Cons

      Responds to your first few emails saying they’ll get back to you but then they don’t even after following up with them regarding your query. Onboarding orientation was just sent via email and you’re basically on your own after hire.
