I have worked for some of the majors in Phoenix; if you want to be a financial planner, EFE is absolutely an excellent choice. If you want flashy red and green lights and the excitement of a trade floor, you go up the street, and you work under a compliance microscope. EFE is doing planning the right way; deep conversations, client goals are the focus, no product pushing or quotas, and planning tools are well beyond others essentially because Ric Edelman pioneered so much of the modern planning process. Huge growth is expected over the next few years which means a lot of opportunities.
