Pros

The best part is the hybrid schedule

Cons

Theres no real room for promotion unless you apply for a planner training but its not guaranteed you'll even get into the program. They dangle a carrot of promotions but nothing ever happens. Don't even get me started on the planners... they're the worst. Know nothing and never want to talk to their own clients.

Pros

Unlimited PTO If you're a fan of corporate theatre, you'll enjoy the daily performance of enthusiastic brown-nosing. It's truly a masterclass in flattery under pressure.

Cons

If you're considering working at this financial planning company—don't. Especially if you're thinking about joining the Product or Design departments. The culture here is beyond dysfunctional; it's outright toxic. Managers regularly gaslight employees, take credit for their work, and then make minor tweaks just so they can pass it off as their own to leadership. It’s a flat org with no room for growth, yet somehow you're still expected to do the job of your manager—particularly in Product and Design—without the title, recognition, or compensation. Taking paternity leave? Be prepared to be guilted for it—leadership actively discourages it. There's a deeply embedded culture of throwing people under the bus, and blame flows downwards while praise flows upwards. Worst of all, the team culture is laced with off-color jokes and inappropriate comments from senior leadership that go unchecked. HR is either ineffective or complicit. What’s most disturbing is how normalized all this behavior is internally. They pitch themselves as a “fast-paced” or “lean” organization, but it’s really just code for burnout, exploitation, and psychological manipulation. Avoid this company if you value your mental health, professional growth, or basic respect in the workplace.
