      There is no proper work/life balance.

      Pros

      Edelman has a great reputation and many big clients come to the company for that reason.

      Cons

      They squeeze every ounce of work out of you, but the salaries are really poor. Also, there seem sto be no flrmula as to how and why they issue spot bonuses.

      Pros

      - name and good reputation of the brand - good company to start out to build foundation in PR skills

      Cons

      - lack of work/life balance - people get brainwashed about how great this company is (it's good, but not the best at everything), especially when they first start out in the industry here - no transparency in career advancement - set in process - lots of people in management inflexible to other ways of doing things - some people get treated better - company is very bad at communicating internally (quite an irony for a PR firm) - managers expect junior staff to do everything and they just "review" - company doesn't give much room for mistakes
