      Pros

      I love the entrpreneurial spirit that is pervasive at Edelman. I feel that my managers are among the best in the business, and the talent of the junior staff is unparalleled in the industry. The projects are innovative, and the clients look to us for more than execution.

      Cons

      High expectations lead to high quality work, but sometimes requests and expectations can be unrealistic, especially on a tight turnaround.

      - Really interesting clients and projects - Smart, extremely talented people - Firm has a great reputation in the industry - Good continuing education/training program - Senior management is, for the most part, top notch

      Cons

      - Compensation is often low compared to agency competitors (benefits are good, though) - Continuous struggle with work/life balance (easy to get burnt out) - Some favoritism shown - Some leaders within offices are too focused on bringing in $ and don't pay enough attention to employee growth

      From Intern to Assistant Account Executive - An Overall Great Experience

      Pros

      One of the reasons I love working for Edelman is their focus on nurturing talent within the company. As an intern I was amazing at the amount of training and knowledge sharing available to employees at all levels. It's a great company to work for straight out of college!

      Cons

      Getting an interview for an agency of this caliber is incredibly competitive and I wish career counselors had stressed to me the importance of international work experience and language learning while I was in undergrad to prepare me for getting a job in this market.
