Pros

Talented and driven teams Strong leadership with clear goals An environment that is conducive to learning and professional growth People who are committed to doing the right thing and a true team environment

Cons

If you are not familiar or comfortable working with global or remote teams, the environment could be challenging. Edelman does everything it can to minimize the challenges of a global business. There are few cons to working here that are not overcome by a proactive approach and a strong work ethic.

Good Company to Work For

Pros

Great culture, solid leadership, and good position as a market leader in the Digital Marketing space. Edelman is a more stable, mature agency than many of the other Digital agencies. Company has great brand recognition among enterprise clients, so it's not hard to get in the door with new target clients. The company is also global, and encourages employees to move between markets (or even specialties) as their personal life goals shift.

Cons

Conflict arises as the non-Digital side of the business becomes increasingly threatened by the Digital. Edelman is, at its core, a PR company, and while clients demand Digital as part of any enterprise-level solution, the PR side tends to want to pump non-Digital into the budget to stay alive.
