Pros

- Ability to add big-name clients to your resume

Cons

- Extremely low wages and poor work life balance (make-up PTO policies reduced more and more every month) - The senior leadership (specifically the Senior Director of the Digital department) will not promote foreigners, especially not foreign women (saying that we "have the best work-life balance" so we're not eligible for promotions). - The new Editor in Chief of the Editorial team is not only extremely abusive and makes xenophobic comments (our team had 120% turnover in 6 months) but also a terrible writer. - The office is understaffed due to poor working conditions and incompetent, abusive leadership. - In a global Edelman internal survey, our office received around a 4.3/10 while the average was around a 7.2/10. When going over survey results, senior leadership then yelled at us and made fun of us for complaining about a hostile work environment. She also scolded us for claiming that there was discrimination, yelling at us and denying it existed at Edelman Korea. - This job destroyed my physical and mental health, and it caused my coworker to have a very public mental breakdown atter only working there for a few months. Overall, Edelman Korea is by far the worst Edelman office in the world - with the highest turnover rate in the world to prove it. I strongly, strongly caution anyone against joining.

Pros

- Low hierarchy, collaborative work environment with friendly and helpful colleagues - Office life is vibrant, and there's always something going on - Interesting work and global, big-name clients

Cons

- Can be easy to get pigeonholed into a role, or be siloed into only working with members within your team - Having an extroverted personality is a pro (not a necessity, but it goes a long way in helping improve connections within the company. And this affects your possibility for promotion as endorsements from the various team leads is needed.).
