Pros

Best-in-class client names; Brilliant co-workers; Occasional opportunities to have agency over one's own career path internally; Flexible environment when it comes to needing to be out of the office (family emergencies, sick / WFH time, etc.)

Cons

Very political and secretive nature of communications and processes from senior executives leaves employees feeling directionless and at times unaware of their options; No internal communications with regard to standardizing essential procedures and expectations; Employees are expected to perform at the highest level of effort "because you work for the best PR firm" but are not compensated nearly as well as competitors and are eventually forced out to find the salaries they deserve.

Cons

Gross people willing to fabricate false claims to propel their sorry paths. Collaboration? non-existent. Be prepared to work 80 hours a week on garbage. Boost gross and embattled brands. Justify every .25 you bill to 5-10 fresh-out-of-sorority account girls. Looking for a PM? They've dissolved that practice years ago. It's back, but no one respects them.

Pros

Most Junior and Mid-level staff are very friendly and easy to work with. The culture is relatively fun. Learned a lot on the job due to some great Mid-level managers who were willing to take the time to help teach/foster new skills.

Cons

Expecting a positive work/life balance is completely frowned upon and will impact your opportunity for new work. Senior management is rude, unfriendly, backstabbing and incompetent for the most part. Raises are given based on tenure, even if the worker is incompetent. Raises for Junior staff are miniscule and almost an insult. Little room to move up unless you sell your life to the company.
