Pros

The local account teams are top notch. Access to the larger Edelman team and working with colleagues from other offices lets us grow professionally and serve our clients well, despite local management issues.

Cons

In less than a year, this office went from one of the best places I've ever worked, to the absolute worst. Local management is a joke, making decisions based on personal vendettas more than business strategy and destroying culture and employee motivation. Half of us have one foot out the door.

Pros

They have decent business prospects.

Cons

Mean, politically motivated know-it-alls at all levels. You are looked down at if you are not Jewish -- and I'm part Jewish. Very few people are happy here, which is too bad. I've worked at a few agencies and this is tied for last place with Weber Shandwick.

Pros

Some of the most high-profile work I've done in my career, working on critical challenges in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, IT, and financial services industries.

Cons

I was hired during the pandemic and appreciate how challenging it is to onboard and learn about the Edelman ways of working quickly in a remote environment. Knowing this, I invested my time and talents, stretching for even more opportunities in my time at Edelman and consistently working both East and West Coast and time zones and with EMEA all while contributing to the bottom line of the firm. I firmly believe the HR practices of KPIs and path to progression here is a smoke screen. For a Communications agency, there is a complete lack of transparency about leadership changes and company performance and how this impacts employees. How can this build loyalty and trust among staff? And this is a company that prides itself on being experts on trust!
