Pros

- They now observe World Mental Health day as a company holiday - Working with big name clients and larger budgets - A lot of room for professional growth, networking, and promotions - Plenty of resources and technological support - Big name opens the door to a lot of other career opportunities and connections outside of the company

Cons

- Very problematic track record of clients. Has had some shady dealings with shady clients - Work/life balance is non-existent for me. People will email me and teams me at 8pm fully expecting me to respond to them and regularly put meetings at 6 and 7pm on my calendar. It’s gotten to point where I just have to ignore it and deal with the consequences the next morning. - Very corporate energy. Definitely ran by older people who are a bit out of touch with how the newer generations view work. Work and being a “LinkedIn thought leader” type person is EVERYTHING to these people. - For being the largest agency in the world, the pay is pretty subpar. I’ve worked at MUCH smaller agencies that provided higher salaries for the role I’m currently in. When I got an offer, I asked for more salary and they declined it. - At an agency THIS big, it can often feel like you’re irrelevant. All these staff meetings are a bunch of people idk who they are, i don’t recognize names in emails, people quit and are hired with no introduction. Definitely not a close-knit or family vibe. - The company at large is really fixated on make hybrid happen at all costs — again, reflective of Edelman’s old school mentality that you HAVE to be in-person to have a good work experience.

Pros

Limited. Good clients I guess.

Cons

Petty, political, pays under market. Hopefully they'll learn they can't take junior talent for granted. Be careful of reviews. HR fluffs them up.
