Low pay and infrequent raises

- Don’t train inexperienced staff. Place in experienced staff in dangerous environments. - Will fire you if whistle blower -Internal Compliance Corrupt -Illegally implementing protocols to legally appear compliant with state laws - Upper management in day hab toxic. Create a very difficult work environment for new management. Coordinator and additional QIDP will not train you because they don’t want to lose power . They will limit your ability to do work and set you up to get you in trouble or fired . - Coordinator will lie on you if he feels threatened by you. - Staff are regularly injured because of the lack of training . -There is racism among the staff .

Immoral and unethical work environment. Staff are not treated fairly and there is no union to support against mistreatment. Human resources is corrupt and the administration is unqualified, to say the least. If you plan to work here as a teacher be prepared be required to pick up students from their homes and drive them to school.... then drive them back home too at the end of the day. Mind you, this will be done in your own car and under your own personal insurance. Illegal on many levels but no one challenges the school because they threaten to fire you if you don't comply. Most teachers start at 8:00 and work until 6:00 from monday through friday. Good luck trying to request a day off or plan a doctors appointment. In a nutshell its just a very negative work environment and definitely not worth the aggravation and stress.

Eden ii is not such a great environment to work in. The place is not ran correctly and that’s why people keep leaving. I’ve never seen such a terrible working environment in all my life. No one knows how to communicate, or give guidance. Even the people who say they are the higher ups, don’t have a clue how to even deal with these children. Sad because it has potential to be one of the best in Staten Island. It has everything you need except good owners that really care.
