There is a huge disparity in how different teams are compensated. Curriculum Developers, who are responsible for the content of products, are paid way under market rate (industry-wide) and significantly less that others in organization. There is a lack of understanding from leadership, who for example, ask that everyone in the organization donates the same dollar amount from each paycheck toward the company's service organization (rather than a more equitable percentage.)
There also tends to be a bit of favoritism and nepotism (as mentioned in other reviews). People with vastly differing work ethics are placed on teams, and oftentimes harder-working CDs are expected to carry the slower-working CDs through to deadlines. Although management is aware, nothing ever seems to be done with the same CDs who drag on projects time and time again.
