      Pros

      Small campus, good staff, decent pay and benefits

      Cons

      Faculty if very self entitled. Administration doesn't care about the little guys only themselves. Union work so you may or may not get a raise. Supervisors are very incompetent, not just in my department. Parking is terrible, good luck finding a place on campus sometimes.

      Supportive supervisors, supportive environment that fosters growth, in my position. Also enjoy working for this company.

      Cons

      Wish I can transfer to become a regular full time after graduation.

      Pros

      The students tell me they feel EdCC is warm and welcoming. New students are often met with a smile. The majority of the staff are there for the right reasons and this shows in their work. People feel cared for and staff work to treat people with respect.

      Cons

      Typical Cons in Higher Ed: Too many interim positions has led to morale problems. But, people wanting to work in Higher Ed today do not always stay well beyond 1-2 yrs in their positions, for reasons I believe related to cost of living growth or desire for personal growth. On the other end, people who have been employed for a long time have trouble accepting new leadership and changes, which may also affect new employees deciding to stay.
