Student-centered and focus is on resilience and retention. Strong core of long-term employees and tradition of 'can do it."

Cons

Budget subject to Legislative appropriation. Declining enrollments with improved economy. Formula for budget is antiquated and limits capacity to invest in staff and long term planning. Strategic initiatives are flavor of the year and are not strung together or linked well with goals and mission.
