      Pros

      Edmunds prides itself on being "hands down the best place to work in Southern California" and they are. They provide you with lots of free snacks and arcade games to unwind with during breaks. However, it's not just the benefits, but the people who work there that make it worth while. My colleagues became my close friends and I looked forward to working with them everyday.

      Cons

      The pay is not as competitive as other companies, which the benefits seem to make up for.

      Pros

      Edmunds has fantastic benefits, competitive salaries and the executives care about employee retention and satisfaction. Skilled employees can move up fast. Employees can switch departments easily when there are relevant openings. Referrals for new employees are encouraged and rewarded with $1000 or $2500, depending on the position.

      Cons

      Middle managers are of inconsistent quality. If you work for a bad one, your experience here can be vastly different than someone else's. Sometimes it is a mystery why some people get promoted when even a quick peer review would have revealed misgivings about the person's competence.

      Pros

      The Santa Monica HQ is a great office space. The company works its hardest to give its clients the best shopping experience possible. The company's goal is to have people who truly care about their work thriving in this environment.

      Cons

      It's hard to take both the wishes of the dealers and the consumers to heart, and usually this results in a very confusing product.
