Pros

Weekly pay, not many meetings.

Cons

They suddenly dropped company sponsored heathcare (they use the marketplace now which is unaffordable and covers virtually nothing) and they no longer contribute to the 401k!!! The worst! Extreme micromanagement of words like YOU and WE because it’s seen as “promising language”. Example…if you’re telling someone “you can apply” you have to say “STUDENTS can apply” or else you’re promising and how dare you!! This results in low score cards because it’s hard to talk to someone in third person!! They use AI to catch these words you say to find little mistakes so they can give you a low score cards! You’re being watched ALL the time! The dialer is constant! You can’t get up because you’re tied to your headset and can’t use a wireless one because it’s forbidden. They even screen record to make sure you’re hard wired to the modem so don’t even think about going to work remotely somewhere besides being tied directly your modem! They say it’s because the connection is better but we know how wireless works and that’s simply not true.

Pros

Strong mission and meaningful work supporting higher education partners. Exposure to a wide range of services (SEO, paid media, strategy, reporting), which can accelerate learning. Opportunity to build deep client relationships and develop strategic thinking skills. Collaborative peers who are generally supportive and willing to jump in to help. Fast-paced environment that builds resilience and problem-solving ability. Good visibility into how agency work operates across departments.

Cons

Role expectations can be unclear or shift frequently, making prioritization challenging. Heavy workload across multiple accounts without always having the authority or resources to drive outcomes. Communication and feedback can be inconsistent depending on leadership. Limited structured coaching or career development pathways. Work can feel reactive rather than strategic at times. Success metrics are not always clearly defined, which can create ambiguity around performance.
