Great Place to Work

Pros

It probably depends on your location, but the staff is helpful and responds quickly. As a sub dedicated to a specific classroom, I receive a higher rate of pay than those who pick and choose when to work. Minimal paperwork and check-ins.

Cons

Not a lot of summer work for year round compensation.

Pros

Done at the end of the day. Work with good people and kids.

Cons

The pay is not in step with the job requirements or the cost of living. The policy on no pay on days school is closed is wrong.

Thanks for your review - we're happy to hear that being a building sub is working out well for you as a working mom. We'd also like to let you know that pay rates are set by the school district, not by Edustaff, so any discussions about raising substitute pay would have to start with the school district.
