Cons

You need to make sure you start your career with Edward Jones in the most beneficial branch location. This is typically done in taking over a vacated office. There is no guarantee you an office near you will be vacated when you want one. Beware the New/New from home starting method unless you don't care about income for the first two years.

Compensation, The ability to make your own schedule, get to deal with great deals of people, help is only a phone call away.

Cons

Help is always a phone call away, Door Knocking is always a lot more difficult than people realize as people are very guarded about someone coming to their doors.

-Great people do work here. Lots of support and a real sense of community and fellowship -You live and die by the work you're willing to put in -Great technical support from St. Louis -Excellent training as they pay for you to study and obtain your license

Cons

-Work life balance is hard if not impossible to maintain -Door to door prospecting is archaic -DO NOT START DOOR KNOCKING IN THE CHICAGO WINTER OR IN VERY AFFLUENT NEIGHBORHOODS!!!
