Pros

Edward jones has a great training program and support staff. They really look out for their own and want you to succeed.

Cons

Some of their techniques seem to be a little outdated but overal I felt that there were more pros than cons.

Pros

no start up costs, will train you every inch of the way on how to sell, your on your own to learn how to make your clients money. Good way to get foot in door for college grads and people with no capital to start thier own business

Cons

40% payout accross the board basically, your on your own but still not feel as though you are in control. They offer a fee base or commission base, your choice, but if your looking to be a fee based broker, ed jones profitability and requirements do not meet standards for using fee base products, meaning you wont be meeting standard commission guidelines if you try to build fee base business, you will most def go broke and lose your job trying to do whats right for the client
