Low hourly pay, sometimes stressful work

Everything I was told was the opposite of what my experience was like - the onboarding and hiring process took 2 months longer than I was told, my recruiter left partway through the process, my compensation was lower than I was told, nobody could answer questions about commission structure. They preached ethical culture, values and work-life balance during my onboarding, but when I started they had me watching Wolf of Wallstreet videos and telling me I shouldn't be doing any admin work until I picked up my fork to eat dinner at 7 p.m. I didn't have a finance background, and took the job instead of going to grad school with a promise that I would get trained. "We have world class training," was the exact verbiage - but I didn't get anything. My trainer wouldn't train me because he was scared I would take his clients, and nobody would answer any of my questions the entire time. Someone quit when I was a week in and they "gave me his assets to manage," but it was actually a mess he left with no notes - and when I asked for assistance with some complex cases, nobody would help. It's one thing to work for an employer, but because I had a license I was the person with the liability. Worst risk I've ever taken on a new job, worst onboarding experience. When I left they wouldn't even give me my last salaried paycheck. Avoid working for this organization. Experience was so bad I left without a contingency plan.
