Pros

solid business model Great rewards for people who perform to standards. Positive work atmosphere support and help is always available First three years are heavily guided by segment with good reasonable goals.

Cons

Doorknocking is hard work early on but is pays off in the long run. Hiring process is very stringent and not all folks make it thru the process Most folks want to start a business but are not willing to pay the price to succeed the first couple of years.

Pros

I worked for Edward Jones for a few short months. I was super pumped up the first few weeks of door knocking but after a while the stress got to me. I recommend you reach out to newer advisors in your area for support and motivation.

Cons

Be prepared to work 60+ hour weeks especially in the beginning. Days can be long from 9:00AM-10:00 PM when you factor in all the paperwork and extra work you have to do after prospecting the whole day.
