Pros

Strong training program paid licensing. Lots of assistance from other FA's the potential is there if you have the strength to get to it.

Cons

The plan involves door to door knocking day in and day out. Saturday included. Days can include up to 12 hour days. Strict to the numbers.

Pros

It is a great place to start a career in the financial industry, but there are probably better options out there.

Cons

The pay is very low, they focus on low level clients as well. Not a very good place to build a book.

Pros

Tiny salary paid while studying for 7,66, and insurance in own home. Free trip to Arizona if you don't mind 5 days of constant role playing of sales scenerios , I mean training. Training on par with any fine Amway sales training program. Makes it easy to transition into vacuum sales career. Endless meetings, conference calls, and busy work combined with the hours needed to actually work will provide endless joy to anyone with a lot of time and needs a way to spend it. Also, if you like an extremely structured environment and do not want to think about things too much, you will appreciate the company and all it has to offer.

Cons

At first the cult like atmosphere was just annoying. But after a while it was just bizarre. Person after person embracing this hokey "outdated" sales culture (I don't think they even realized they had already finished the first glass of koolaid and were on their second) was very Moonieish. Independent thought is not encouraged. The worst is doorknocking. Knocking on some strangers door in a big city does not usually result in someone in turn buying a bond from you. But on the upside if you ever decide to come back next week to run for office or sell Avon products you will know which houses to miss.
