Pros

-Great benefits, flexible schedule, good compensation. They provide you with all the training you need to get started. If you get along with your advisor, life will be just fine. They have profit sharing and 401k matching.

Cons

The health benefits are not the best. If you work in an office where you hate your advisor (boss), life could be miserable.

Pros

this company knows what it wants and is willing to help you along--everybody knows what your going through trying to build clients in the beginning because they had to do it as well.

Cons

they claim that they don't recruit people from the financial industry with current clients and want hard workers who are follow their formula instead, but it seems the only people who have come to edward jones with a clients already in tow are the only one's with any type of security in the beginning years.
