Pros
The commission earnings were great, and the hourly wage was substantial enough for a college aged employee working part time. Customers were friendly, and the atmosphere was lighthearted and fun. Management was always understanding if personal problems arose, car trouble, etc. and there was usually another employee willing to help up and pick up a couple hours of your shift or the entire shift if needed. Great learning opportunity for anyone looking to get their foot in the door for a golf related career path.
Cons
Stormy days or the winter season weren’t the best times for commission sales as less people are golfing and shopping for equipment, but the holiday season usually made up for that, and again the hourly wage was decent without the commissions anyways.
