      Pros

      I have been working with Egen Solutions, Inc. for over a year as a Software Developer and I consider it a great start for my career growth and development. I Love and enjoy the work. The team, I'm part of has been working on a Data Engineering framework for clients from the top brass of industries like mining, construction and rail to name a few. The learninng curve here has been exponential and I got to learn and directly work with new and upcoming technlogies like Java 8, Apache NiFi, Spark, AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and going forward I am pretty certain this stack is going to grow. The management is very helpful, caring and are always deeply involved with the developrs. I strongly recommend Egen Solutions as a future work place for promising developers!

      Pros

      If you want to be a full stack developer then this is the place to work. You get to work on a cutting edge cloud based analytics platform. This involves working with front end frameworks like AngularJS as well as full range of Java technologies that brings together the platform that also uses Nifi for data ingestion, Spark for data processing, Akka, Kafka etc. This is a very friendly place to work despite the goal oriented environment. This is a positive, encouraging and supportive company to work for. The management is responsive and sensitive to the need of its employees. I have been working here for more than 2 years and somehow it still feels like being part of a big family, which may sound cheesy, but that's how I feel.

      Cons

      If you are the sort of person who is specialized in a certain set of technologies and you only want to work with these, then this company is not for you. Here you are expected to be willing to take the plunge and learn new things in order to meet the release objectives. Continuing on the same theme, you need to be self-driven and hands on as there is no hand holding or spoon-feeding here. You should be willing to adapt to rapid changes as the company is growing fast

      Good Marketing Team, Great Work/Life Balance, Very Professional Staff, Fortune 100 clients, Innovative Long term Projects in latest technologies such as Mobile and JavaScript frameworks, They have excellent trainers too. There is lot of freedom to analyze, research and explore. Forward Thinking Company!

      Cons

      I guess they can do better with the Salary structure or the Profit sharing Plans
