A solid company, but not for the faint of heart
Pros
I’ve been with Egnyte for over 3 years, and overall, my experience has been very positive. We’ve got a great group of people here. It’s a results oriented environment and I’ve been given a lot of freedom to do my job, my way. We’ve got a great product and I believe the company is poised to be very successful.
Cons
I don’t think this is necessarily a bad thing, as few things worth doing are easy, but it’s a challenging environment. Expectations are high, the pace is fast and resources can be limited. People who are willing to put in the extra effort, who are concerned more with results than politics and who are prepared to make personal sacrifices for the good of the company will be successful here. People who put in minimal effort and think they can cruise into an IPO won’t last. Glassdoor is littered with the complaints of people who thought that.
