      Great Firm to Work for and People to Work with

      Pros

      The culture and the people you work with. It is important to like the people you work with as you spend most of your time with them. There is a sense that the firm and management really do care about its people.

      Cons

      Compensation seems to be lower than market and health insurance is just ok. There is little transparency about how your salary is determined.

      Working with people the same age and great mentors

      Cons

      The only positive I have about working here is the exposure you get to various companies doing public accounting. The only difference between all public accounting firms are the clients you work on. If you don't like long hours, low pay, expensive family benefits, or corporate politics then you should do something other than public.
