hours are better than other firms

Cons

-Pay starting at 54,500 while other firms are starting at 60,000 -Even though partners are saying they require less hours as long as we get our work done - there is no consistency among management so most managers go rogue and expect 55s and if you get your work done in less than that - they hold resentment towards you -We have to busy seasons not one. So we are expected to work 50s September through December and 55s January through April (they conveniently leave that out during recruiting)

Leadership and management are supremely outdated and severely out of touch. The “Construction Partner” and his peers are the quintessential model of corporate leadership: very little care for employees, employee growth, employee anything. You are a pencil pusher here, nothing less, nothing more

You can take vacation anytime you want, outside of busy season

Underpaid, overworked, poor culture, partners in the RD department refuse to accept valid criticism from staff members and talk poorly about other staff members to management and staff. The group hired several people from a small firm that they constantly talked down upon and assimilated culture that puts all of the leg work on its staff members.
