Diverse projects to broaden my exposure to accounting issues "Dress for Your Day" policy Beautiful office Reasonable hours for a CPA firm Various sports teams like softball and floor hockey

Cons

Expensive health plan Low 401k matching and long vesting period Hard to find billable work in the off-season Archaic manner of updating schedules & requesting time off

Pros

-Flexibility in hours (for public accounting). -interaction with partners and clients that you won't get at big 4. -Tech reviewers, partners, managers willing to teach all the time if you have the right attitude

Cons

-Work gets spread to harder workers and pay gap between extremely busy and less busy doesn't equate until you are years in. -some jobs are extremely complex given the nature of their client base and jobs aren't adequately staffed or budgeted creating more pressure on employees at lower levels
