      Pros

      Great support system if you're willing to ask for help/guidance along the way. With the exception of a few, people at every level throughout the Company genuinely desire to see others succeed.

      Cons

      The best performers tend to be worked a bit harder. Long hours, but nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to public accounting.

      Pros

      - They are now more flexible with working from home. - The new office location in NJ is very nice and high-tech.

      Cons

      - Health insurance premiums are astronomical. - You have a review AFTER an increase amount has already been decided. How does this make any sense? - The firm is no longer has a “family” feel. They don’t care about employees and see everyone as replaceable.

      Name recognition in the field.

      Cons

      When they took over Amper, they completely changed the corporate culture. What was a family type mentally went to a ruthless bottom line environment, which prompted huge layoffs and people jumping ship to get out. They make their money with Hedge Fund clients and only tolerate the other departments. Some of the Amper partners definitely felt they were sold a bill of goods. I was downsized after almost 8 years in their attempt to hurt my partner. My position was not replaced. They are stretching people to the point of poor client service.
