Good company bad India culture

Pros

Great if you work directly with the US team, the team there is pretty accomodating, involves you in strategy and planning and is pretty flexible

Cons

India management over the years have kind of worked on building an empire of its own, they make their own decisions even if US disagrees, culture is pretty bad compared to other Indian companies, they would pretend they are pretty open minded and flexible but in reality are opposite. They have a final say in your promotion and hikes even if you don't work with them directly. Policies are not universally applicable to all employees, it's based on favouritism. Need I say more?

Lots of client interaction which is great for growth. Seniors are approachable and genuinely want to help you succeed.

Cons

Client-facing means your communication skills better be on point, and you're managing expectations constantly.
