      Pros

      good coworkers, nice area to work in, food discount

      Cons

      benefits, medical is a joke, upper management could care less at retaining their employees, they lay off people and then bring in temps to do the same job under a slightly altered job category. The individual employee voice is non existant, typical republican CEO greedy.

      Pros

      I like working for El Pollo Loco because they are very flexible in the hours they give management. My restaurant is a franchise, therefore, we do not have the same benefits as a corporate El Pollo Loco has. Corporate El Pollo Loco's have some of the best benefit packages available. I believe that upper management in corporate El Pollo Loco is very competent, but it seems that within our franchise, everytime we take one step forward, we take two more steps back.

      No benefits, no vacation, low pay, no incentives from the company.

      "Okay" place to work, though I wanted to slap some of the employees and managers at times.

      Good food, friendly managers, plenty of hours

      Cons

      Absolutely NO training (had to learn everything on the job), often had to work the drive-thru alone during rush, was often sent to run errands after I clocked out. Constantly had to pick up on the cook's slack. Managers often disrespected new employees and favored old ones, and customers were always extremely rude.
