      Cult-like culture with constant job uncertainty

      Pros

      Formerly Novartis R&D site in Australia a great place to work. Intelligent coworkers, family atmosphere and a passionate group of people.

      Cons

      Elanco forces it’s culture on every employee. Constant cost-cutting, then re-hiring then cost cutting again. Higher management constantly changing strategies and focus based on American demands, not other countries.

      Pros

      Everyone at Elanco are very helpful and pleasant. They go the extra mile to make one feel welcome and important. Travel arrangements are easy and accommodations are very nice. Everyone answered any and all questions. The offer for employment came in a timely fashion with adequate phone confirmation following email contact. Several people contacted me to make sure all of my questions were answered. This is a great company with wonderful people.

      Good benefits and average pay, intelligent and stimulating coworkers, team mentality culture, comfortable work environment, many well respected brands. Career growth opportunities due to downsizing for the right candidate

      Cons

      Significant cost cutting, workforce reductions, and resignations due to pending strategic review ownership decisions - which results in burying dedicated employees who’ve stayed. A culture of ‘change’ right now which can be unsettling. Many brands face generic pressure or consumer pressures (antibiotics)
