Low salary, high expectations
Pros
- Worked with state-of -the-art tech that wasn't yet available to the public. - Gained experience with standard back-end technologies and architectures.
Cons
- Low salary, was very hard to get a raise and even then the salary wasn't meeting my level of expertise. - Overtime rarely paid, had to go through lots of unpleasant talks to get paid for overtime. - As an employee from a subcontractor company, the team made 100% sure I feel like an outsider and that I don't belong. - Despite being an expert in my field, I was met with a lot of disrespect and every suggestion I made was rejected, even though it was later proven I was right. - Everyone only talks about their military duties and work. No one ever talks about life and anything other than work and career.
