      Pros

      Elder Research is very committed to its values, does a great job of developing employees' skills, and is a great place to learn data science and apply it to a variety of problems. The people are fun and the learning focused culture is the best I've seen in my career.

      Cons

      The company can feel disorganized at times. There isn't a strong focus on turning a profit so salaries and growth within the company can feel limited. This is a conscious choice by management, so just have your eyes open going in about the tradeoffs you are accepting. This also may have changed somewhat since I've been there as its been a few years.
