Could be great but lots of work to do.

Pros

Flexible schedules, company promotes from within, bonuses for all not just C suite

Cons

Lack of transparency, reorganizations and RIFs are all too common in the workplace, but the lack of transparency leads to rampant rumors. Admin costs are slashed when workers are RIFd, but that is not passed on to those that make the cut, whose workload doubles or triples with not even a thought to increase. If you don't go along you will likely be next. Leads to real paranoia.

Pros

Most of the people that I work with a very hard working.

Cons

After over 15 years I am seriously considering leaving the company I had hoped to retire at. We recently learned that the cost of renewing professional certifications will no longer be covered. We've also been told to expect very small salary increases this year. This coming just a couple of weeks after the CFO couldn't contain his excitement about how well the company is doing. When you hear leadership tell you how valuable the associates are do not believe them!

Pros

Good pay, good pto, good health benefits

Cons

Elevance Health is a good company in terms of pay, time off and health benefits. After that, except to be stressed out, overwhelmed and over-worked. Your managers and OE treat you like you’re a number. You are metrics. They want to make sure that you’re reaching your FCR. It’s a fireable offense to hang up on a member. If a member is racist, homo-phobic, insultive, demeaning or belittling there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it. Instead YOU are blamed for not being able to resolve the members issue. The management dodges supervisor escalations and demeans you if you post a possible escalation that the managers would need to take. This is a job for someone that has no social life, no mental health disorders and doesn’t mind taking orders. This is not a job for a empathetic person. You CANNOT be a feeler. When you go above and beyond for members you are often berated for this. They will pay you well, but in exchange you are trading your soul. I have been threatened and belittled by members multiple times and I’ve had to sit there for 2+ hours and allow them to disrespect and demean me while my management scramble and put off taking accountability for the issue. If you struggle with stress/anxiety or have small children DO not work here!
